I love spending time with my wife. Other than that, I love movies: watching them, making them, acting in them. I think I love creativity in general. It's very easy to destroy something, but to create something...especially something that affects other people is difficult.
When I'm not doing that, I like playing various sports with my co-ed rec team year round and trying to find time with my friends who live outside of MN.
My professional goal is to not suck.
Music
I've dropped out lateley when it comes to music. It's very depression really, because I used to follow a lot of different artists. Prince is by far my favorite but Motley Crew is right behind 'em. Right now, I listen to John William's scores more than anthing else...I know, It's odd. But it says a lot about who I am, I think.
Movies
My Top 10 Include: Star Wars, Godfather, The Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Braveheart, The Usual Suspects, Sin City, Seven, 300...pretty much anything with Pacino in it. THERE WILL BE PISTOLS AT DAWN WITH ANYONE WHO DOESN'T APPRECIATE PACINO. Good movies are hard to come by nowadays. Admitedly i'm a bit of a movie snob. I am very selective about what to add to my dvd collection but i have a wide tolorance when i comes to movies in general.
Television
Joss Whedon is the master of all television. Anything he does is golden. If you don't know who he is, I don't have the page space to tell you. J.J. Abrams is a close second though. LOST...best show on television, period. Check it out, it will suck you in.
Books
I've given up on trying to find time to read. Ugh.
Heroes
There are a lot of people who I look to as examples of success...all for different reasons. However, my only hero is my dad for his infinite patience, selflessness, and tolerance.
About me: I am an Actor/Film Maker and I am looking for a better day job. After 11 years in Social Services/Community Corrections, I have made a career change and turned my part time job into my new career. I am eager to help make the Twin Cities a place to make great films.
Who I'd like to meet: All the examples of success that I can learn from: Al Pacino, George Lucas, John Williams, Steven Spielberg, Joss Whedon, David Fury, J.J. Abrams, Carlton Cuse, Damon Lindelof, DeNiro, Clint Eastwood, Sean Connory, Sam Jackson, Bill Murry, Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt (Before Bad-jolina), Ewan MacGregor, David Fincher, Halley Barrey, John Depp, Spike Lee, Ed Norton, Brian Singer, Wes Anderson...
