NEWS!!!! "A Beautiful Mess" features collaborations with world music artist, Francis MBappe, Apollo Heights guitarist Danny Chavis, and guitarist/composer, Michael Hewett. Denise has had a great deal of success licensing her original music for Film and TV programs. Denise was delighted to find her song entitled, "No More Words" was used in the opening of a film for the Nissan Outdoor games 2008. Many of Denise’s songs from her past 3 albums are featured regularly on the daytime TV dramas, "One Life to Live" and "The Young & The Restless". "Hush Hush", was featured on the ABC prime time TV series, "Traveler", and the opening theme for the independent film, "How to Grow an Olive Tree", along with an acoustic version of a song from "A Beautiful Mess", called "Suckers". Since 2003, Denise has toured across the US, wowing audiences with her live shows. Her last tour through Germany in September 2009 was hugely successful; She is currently planning tours on the west coast and Europe for 2011. When not on the road, Denise works as a producer/engineer helping artists realize their dreams of making great albums. For over 10 years, she was a staff engineer at KAMPO STUDIOS in NYC. She is now a co-founder and active member of the PYRAMID RECORDING COLLECTIVE centered around PYRAMID STUDIOS in NYC. As a Recording Engineer/Producer, Denise has worked with Angie Stone, Herbie Hancock, David Byrne, Mary J. Blige, Bruce Cockburn, and The Roots.
