General
I like a lot of things.
I like to drink tea (weak and black if you're offering!).
I like to go to gigs.
I like to read books.
I like to help people.
I like shopping.
I like to play the violin.
I like chocolate. (It's unfortunate I can't eat much of it)
I like sitting in front of a fire on a cold winters day.
Likewise, I dislike some things.
Tomatoes.
Getting up on cold mornings.
Tidying my flat.
The dark.
Music
This could be a long long long list, as my musical taste is very varied.
I'll listen to everything from cheesy pop to heavy metal and everything in-between.
Although if you had to pin me down, I'd say that my current three favourite bands are Idlewild, Stereophonics and Runrig.
I love going to see local bands play, and I've discovered some wonderful music this way.
Movies
When it comes to films I am a proper girl.
I hate with a passion scary films, seriously, sometimes films that have a 12 rating are too scary for me.
I like nice girly films like Notting Hill. And ofcourse, all Disney films.
I don't mind action films, just as long as they're not scary...
Television
I love CSI, in fact sometimes I think I've missed my true calling! I can watch CSI (the original) over and over again and always enjoy it!
I also quite like all those period dramas that tend to be shown on a Sunday afternoon. Give me a nice pot of tea and I can sit there all afternoon lost in 17th Century Britain.
Books
My all time favourite books are the Cross-stitch series by Diana Gabaldon. I have lost count of the number of times I've read them now, but they never ever lose their appeal!
Heroes
I think my biggest hero is my friend William. Even when things were at their very worst he never gave up, and he's smiling now!

I'm originally from a very tiny village up in the Highlands, so I love Glasgow. It's so completely different, and there is always something to do here.
