Der Wahnsinn means "The Insanity" in German. The name symbolizes the search for a greater satisfaction and lust for life, through the expelling of one’s inner insanity.
Influenced by heavy metal and German industrial bands, Der Wahnsinn seeks to aggressively express the human beings feelings.
In 2007 Der Wahnsinn released a 5-track EP named Industrielle Revolution, exploring contemporary themes, involving the modern society, the technological progress, the accelerated new century and the individual’s insertion on this context.
Following its debut EP, the band released a DVD named Die industrielle Revolution geht weiter… in 2008, presenting a live concert, the EP making of and additional live tracks.
Since then, Der Wahnsinn has achieved important milestones such as:

Der Wahnsinn significa "A Insanidade" na língua alemã. O nome simboliza a busca por uma maior satisfação e desejo pela vida, por meio da expulsão da insanidade dentro de cada um.
Com influências do heavy metal e o industrial alemão, a Der Wahnsinn busca expressar com agressividade os sentimentos do ser humano.
Em 2007, a Der Wahnsinn lançou seu primeiro EP chamado Industrielle Revolution, o qual explora temas contemporâneos que envolvem a sociedade moderna, o progresso tecnológico, o novo século acelerado e a inserção do indivíduo neste contexto.
Seguindo seu primeiro trabalho, a banda lançou um DVD chamado Die industrielle Revolution geht weiter... em 2008, apresentando um show ao vivo, o making of do EP e músicas extras ao vivo.
Desde então, a Der Wahnsinn tem conquistado importantes marcos tais como:
