The Civil War is my passion. I plan to be an American History teacher after I retire from the Air Force. When I am, I'll be able to teach people the true meaning of the Confederate Battle Flag. The truth that it doesn't stand for racism or hatred, but that it is a symbol for Southern pride and to honor over 200,000 Southern Americans that gave their lives fighting for their country.
