I never thought I'd say this but, I'm getting tired of girls dressing in American Apparel. Especially the baggy/pajama outfitsPosted 13 hours ago from Twitter view more

EPYSO's "Rockin the Rock: World Music Fest" Brings Together Area Musicians
An event that seeks to foster collaboration among the areas many genres of music all towards a common mission.
El Paso, TX Sept. 4th, 2009 — The El Paso Youth Symphony Orchestra will celebrate its third annual Rockin the Rock concert series with this year's theme World Music Fest. The event takes place on Saturday September 26th at McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater starting at 4PM. With a gathering of some of the most interesting and diverse musicians in the region, World Music Fest hopes to build a reputation as a call for shared love and understanding of all cultures. EPYSO has commissioned musicians from different genres to perform and collaborate together throughout the event. The event is dedicated to raising funds and providing support for ongoing El Paso Youth Symphony Orchestra educational programs.
The concert will include three major collaborations with the young musicians of the symphony. First, Mariachi Raices de America will perform alongside EPYSO such well known songs as Volver and Amor Eterno. The symphony will then be joined on stage by the local reggae group Mane Street with some reggae classics like Stir It Up and I Shot the Sheriff. The event will then be capped off with the high energy performance of EPYSO, local band Flashback and Las Vegas vocalist Louie Yanez encoring last year's Beatles Tribute show with some of the Fab Four's greatest hits. Local band Border Roots will also be performing.
The El Paso Youth Symphony Orchestra, a non-profit organization, works under the instruction of Music Director Maestro Phillip Gabriel Garcia who initiated it while a senior at Hanks High School in 1993. Membership is free of charge
