& Many other great bands...
Eden Eclipsed are a band from Ipswich, UK, who aim to capture a Gothic/Doom/Rock atmosphere. The sound has been described as 'melancholy, yet uplifting', and the band is proud of its blend of downbeat doom and upbeat rock, somewhere between Lacrimas Profundere and Swallow the Sun. They formed when vocalist and founding member, Ross, shared his ideas with ex-Failed Humanity guitarist and friend, Dan Beadle. In its early days, the band went through several member changes before finding a committed lineup and refining its sound; progress was slow and unproductive. Time passed, and eventually Ross contacted friend and guitarist Alex, who soon became a permanent member after learning the riffs and songs. After this, ex-drummer of Blackfire Well, James, was also contacted and after being shown the riffs, songs and other ideas, the band began to reinvent itself. Ex-Rebirth Bassist Al was invited to a rehearsal where he quickly picked up the songs, and became the fifth and final member of the band. Eden Eclipsed are now gigging and have finished recording a 3 track demo. If you want to book us, drop us a message!
