About me: My name is Tara and I am in middle school. My mom helped me get this page set up so that I could share my idea with people. A few months ago, a friend of mine lost her mother to breast cancer. I wanted to try and find a way that I could make money to donate to breast cancer research so they can find a cure. I found some beads with the pink ribbon on them at a bead store and decided to make earrings to sell. The companies that my mom and dad work for donated the beads and I make the earrings. I am selling them for $5 - $7 per pair. Some of them are below. I am donating all of the money that I get for the earrings to the Susan G. Komen foundation with the help of my mom. If you like my earrings and would like to help by buing a pair, you can go to www.PinkCures.org and order them.
Who I'd like to meet: Other people interested in helping to find a cure, especially girls my age because I think that we can really make a difference!:-)
I love my new earrings! Earrings for a Cure is a great idea to raise money for the Susan G. Komen foundation. Thanks for putting this together - Keep up the good work!
