I've written some music for film, placed in a couple local cable ads, and plenty of stuff for Big Mountain skiing/snowboarding films & web content (mostly for my boys at Teton Gravity Research in WY :)
I name my cues after whatever happens to be on the tv.
If the titles look familiar, thats what I was watching.
Influences (or composers I just like the most): Tyler Bates (Watchmen & 300), Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard (TheDarkKnight), Paul Haslinger (Shoot'em Up), and Charlie Clouser, and Michael Giacchino (LOST and the latest Star Trek shizz).
