   Friday the 13th: Mother's Day's Blurbs
About me:

Synopsis:
Mrs. Voorhees is dead and her son, Jason, was dragged down to Hell. The woods where Camp Crystal Lake once existed are now at peace. That is why Boone and his friends have come to this place for camping and fun. But what they haven't realized is that you can't stop a death curse... So, when Joe Travers, a local hunter releases the evil of "Camp Blood" he becomes it's vessel. Now what was going to be a joyful experience will now be a weekend that ends in blood and terror....
FRIDAY THE 13th: MOTHER'S DAY is a fan produced film, based on the first novel in Eric Morse's Camp Crystal Lake series. The film takes place after the events in the film JASON GOES TO HELL: THE FINAL FRIDAY.

The Cast and Crew

Mali Macconnell plays the heroine of Mother's Day, Carly McDonnell. Before coming onto the project, Mali has spent time doing theater work in Newport, NH and has even acted in plays with her co-star Benjamin M. Santos. Mali is attending Northeastern University in Boston where she continues to study theater.

Ben M.Santos plays all out party guy Billy Boone in Mother's Day. Prior to taking the part of Boone, Ben has acted in various plays in Newport, NH and has previously worked with director Cory Stevens on his Friday the 13th spoofs. Ben attends Curry College in Mass. where he continues to work in plays.

Corey A. Lucas plays all around stud Paul Sexton in Mother's Day. Corey's previous work in acting and film has been with director Cory Stevens. Corey has been featured in seven-plus of his films, including four installments of the Friday the 13th spoof series.

Albert Harris has been brought to life in Mother's Day by Dave Conte. Dave is one third of the filmmaking group, The Collective (along with director Cory Stevens and director of photography Matthew Lundberg). Dave previously acted in one of the Friday spoof films, but sees this as his first true role. Dave attends Keene State College where he will graduate with a BA in Film Production.

The material girl from France, Monique Dufy was portrayed by Nicole Lillie. Nicole, still attending high school in Newport, NH, is a member of the drama club, from which she knows co-star Mali MacConnell. Nicole continues to act in plays and films in Newport.

Stephen Loverme plays Kyle, on half of the hippie duo in Mother's Day. Stephen had previously worked on a film crew at Keene State College with director Cory Stevens and co-star Dave Conte. Stephen graduated from Keene State College in 2006 with a BA in Film Production and currently spends time working with his band.

The other half of the hippie duo, Suzanne was played by Allyson Smith. Allyson has worked in some small student films at Keene State College before accepting the role for Mother's Day. She still attends Keene State where she is an English major.

The crazy old timer in Mother's Day, Ned Varner was played by Paul Bradicich with much delight. Bradicich has previously done film/play and local broadcasting work in the greater Lake Sunapee region. He currently runs MediaHead.TV, where he does various videography and post production work.

Derek Jimenez fills the shoes of Joe Travers, "The Hunter" in Mother's Day. Derek worked on the same film crew as Stevens, Conte, Lundberg and LoVerme at Keene State College. Along with LoVerme, Derek graduated in 2006 with a BA in Film Production. Derek is currently starting work on his first feature film, The Axe Man.

Cory Stevens
Producer & Director
Cory has spent nearly the last four years trying to get his adaptation of Mother's Day made. In the mean time, he has made many short films, including five Friday the 13th spoof films, featuring many of the cast and crew from Mother's Day. Cory will be graduating from Keene State College with a BA in Film Production.

voi William Pattison, who is also known as Eric Morse, wrote the novel that Mother's Day is based on. William also worked as Executive Consultant on the film. He also lent the production his talent as a voice artist for a very important voice over.

Matthew Lundberg
Director of Photography
Matthew has experience in many aspects of film production, including directing, producing, cinematography and being an assistant director. He operates his own production company, Grove Mountain Studios. Matthew will graduate with a BA in Film Production and is currently writing a feature script.

Stephanie Barker
Makeup Artist
Stephanie had done some extensive study in the art of makeup and conveniently enjoys the work for Friday alumni Tom Savini. She is currently part of the art team on a film crew at Keene State College and has done prior makeup work with Derek Jimenez, turning him into a werewolf for her short film.

Kendel Sayer
Gaffer/Key Grip
Kendel has previously worked with Cory Stevens before on his Friday spoof films. In the fifth installment, he was one of four actors to portray Jason. Coming onto the project, Kendel had no real knowledge of film production but quickly learned and adapted and hopes to continue working on future films.

Justin Martin
Best Boy Grip/Electrical
Justin, like the majority of the cast and crew, has worked with Cory Stevens before on numerous projects. He was featured in the final Friday spoof and has even directed two episodes of Cory Stevens' Psycho Cinema.

The Collective Together, Cory Stevens, Dave Conte and Matthew Lundberg are the filmmaking group, The Collective. Their banner is used when the three of them work on a single project together. The Collective was created in 2004 working on the film, "The Three Evils: Chapter Three - One Thousand Miles Towards The Setting Sun," directed by Conte. Mother's Day is the fourth Collective film and the second to be directed by Stevens, who also directed "Split." Lundberg directed last year's Collective project, "Undeclared." Conte is currently in post production on the latest project, "Losers," which the three created the story for. It will be released in late April.

Thanks for the comment I appreciate it very much as parts of my film were inspired by Mother's Day and a bit of Jason Goes to Hell such as the possession idea which is more subtle in Mother's Day than it was in Jason Goes to Hell.

Anyway I love this movie and the story is very entertaining, plus I would really like it if Cory could adapt Jason's Curse too, I think he'd do an excellent job once again.
My favorite moments in Mother's day are between the characters rather than the kill scenes strangely enough, and this proves it was well written and directed!
