FMGreen -- Originally a group of rabid devotees in the Church of Weezer, this trio quickly developed into a behemoth rock and roll force. Mixing catchy melodies -- the drummer sings lead and the other two blokes harmonize -- and a vague sense of formal training (all of FMGreen chose degrees in music education and dig Steve Reich) with the unrepentant brawn of rock, FMGreen bring a much-needed sense of craft to rock. Theyre not content to simply bash away at their instruments yet they sacrifice none of the musics rawness. Might be described as AC/Bee Gees or Mecha-Godzukis Dirty-Diaper Tantrum Soundtrack.

FMGreens sound leaves me a tad uncomfortable. Its not that its overtly unpleasant, or minor, or negativeI guess I dont know what it is exactly. And thats why I like it. Its rock music without too many apparent influences sticking out. They obviously like rock. But theres no inflated posturing, which, even though I like a little excess here and there, is refreshing. Check them out and try to figure them out.

I won't puss out, I'll admit that the Sabres handed the Pens their own ass the other night. Miller was a stud and their defense was astounding, I don't think anyone has held the Pens to that few shots this season!
The Pens played like crap, no support for Fleury...
All that being said, I don't think any team really want to play Buffalo or Pittsburg in the playoffs :)
