ZEN Band is first chinese rock & roll band taking root in New york USA. FANG KE came to the USA from China in 2002. His bassist LIANG WEI arrived in 2005 and drummer Alec Menge join ZEN band in 2006 now creating and performing in New York City. FANG KE and LIANG ZI are natives of Beijing where they formed a number of bands including "Yao" and "Ping-Pong Party". FANG KE studied visual arts at the Chinese Central Academy of Design and was active in the Beijing rock music scene since its earliest days in the 1980's. He has released a number of CDs in China and continues to record at his home on the Lower East Side. (Chinese Rock 'n' Roll in the USA).

方科你好 你行动真快。又组了个乐队！ 觉得那儿都不好这挺正常的。嗬嗬。我就避免去看。always look at the bright side of life. haha. 而且我每次回北京时间都很短，没有超过三个星期。还没玩儿够就走了。所以没时间体会不好的一方面。但是总的来说我比较喜欢在欧洲的生活。当然在这边也有很多问题。但是如果是我无法解决的我就尽量不去想。我的乐队计划9月去中国演出。估计到时候咱们能再见面。
