We are all part of a bigger picture and sometimes that picture isn't always clear. The world outside is massive and one can easily become lost in a crowd of busy life travelers.Some searching for comfort, some searching for peace and some searching a lifetime for happiness. The emotion and feeling of joy lives within each of us. It is an emotion of life and because it is an emotion of life it gives life. Have you ever watched water ripple along in a river? Each drop flowing in unity with the other in one direction. At times the current strong guiding the water over rocks.At times only a slight movement can be seen with the eye. Happiness like a river is an emotion we can chose to dive into at any given moment. It is a feeling that resides within and does not leave. We however spend so much time trying to find ways, things,people and places that make us happy that we miss to see that these are only droplets within the flow of happiness reminding us of what already is within us. Happiness cannot be made, happiness already is and it is an emotion of the heart and a expression of the soul. A smile is contagious and laughter even more but a heart of joy can light up the darkest of times and heal any pictures. Colleen C Smith
