Fertile reality jumps the stage at Het Kasteel, Alphen aan den Rijn.
Operating on the borders of New Wave, Indie, Gothic, Shoegaze, and pop, Fertile Reality brings you moody songs filled with melancholy, and catchy chorusses. If you feel the need to compare us with other artists people have commonly referred to bands such as: Joy Division, Wire, Editors, SWANS and many more... The fact that people recognize those bands in our music is not a coincidence, we like these bands. Our sound is dark, but most of it has a distinct pop feeling to them.
As for live shows: we love to do them, and we played with some nice bands, like The Mission, MESH, And Also The Trees, Cinema Strange, Christian Death 1334, The Cold, Spiritual Front, Misery, Volksweerbaarheid, O'lenk, WED and Superikone, and maybe some day, we will play with YOU!
Since it's start the band has had a few changes in line-up, but most has remained the same. Throughout our history we have recorded one mini album, and three full albums of which "No Moon At All" is our most recent one. And we are already working on even more new songs.
