    With more than 40,000 fans around the world, Flavio Sala is considered the new star of the classical guitar, acclaimed by critics and audiences worldwide for his incredible instrumental technique, combined with extraordinary sensitivity and musical creativity. Continuing to promote his sixth album "Flavio Sala Plays Pop", an album containing twelve of the most beautiful and famous melodies of international rock and pop repertoire, from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, from Eric Clapton to Carlos Santana, Celine Dion, The Beatles…This project has benefited the precious collaboration of Antonello Capuano, who arranged the songs for solo guitar. The interpretive imagination and virtuosity, the delicacy and expressiveness of the Flavio's guitar, make this album one of the most original in the world. Flavio Sala is an eclectic artist. Classical training, even child discovers the flamenco music and later, jazz, Latin jazz and finally rock and pop. His curiosity and eclecticism are well represented in the album "De La Buena Onda" (2010), recorded during 8 months, in Rome, Milan, Florence, Madrid and Cluj (Romania), where he supports with his guitar the voice of the Italian pop singer Mango (who later includes the same song by Carlos Gardel on his own album "La terra degli Aquiloni", Sony, 2011) and joins other international musicians, such as Marcus Miller, Toninho Horta, Jorge Pardo and Cliff Almond, the quintet that plays the Samba that gives the name to the album. Flavio, for the first time, recorded his voice, singing "Malafemmina", in duo with Alain Perez, in a poignant version in bolero style, enriched by the cajon of Israel Suarez "El Piranha". But the list goes on: Giovanni Baglioni, Otmar Ruiz, Alex Acuna, Carles Benavent, Rubem Dantas, Daniel Binelli.... He has toured and given hundreds of concerts and master classes in Europe, America and Asia, playing in prestigious theaters and concert halls, including the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and Gnessins Hall in Moscow, "Leopold Auer" Concert Hall of University of Indiana ( USA), Palermo Politeama Theatre, the Theatre of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Bonci Theatre in Cesena (Italy), "Alirio Díaz" Theatre in Venezuela, the Concert Hall of the Vienna Conservatory, the Great Theatre of Belo Horizonte (Brazil), the Sala Regia of Venice Palace in Rome, etc ... He has played with the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, Milano Classica Orchestra, Friuli-Venezia-Giulia Symphony Orchestra, the State Hermitage Orchestra, the New Russia Orchestra by Jury Bashmet, Kazan Symphony Orchestra, Moscow Philarmony Orchestra, Ekaterinburg Symphony Orchestra, Modigliani Pisa Orchestra, Venezuela Symphony Orchestra, Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra, Samara Symphony Orchestra, etc... Flavio Sala became internationally known after winning several awards in the most prestigious guitar competitions (Gargnano, Pittaluga, "Alirio Díaz" of Carora, San Francisco, "Alexandre Tansman" in Lodz). Born in Bojano, Campobasso, Italy, in 1983, he studied with Pasqualino Garzia at the "Lorenzo Perosi" Conservatory in Campobasso and graduated at age 19 with an honorable mention. At the same time he studied with Oscar Ghiglia at the "Accademia Musicale Chigiana" in Siena and "Accademia Musicale di Firenze", winning numerous scholarships and 4 degrees of merit. He Has been inspiring by his meetings with Alirio Diaz, who does not hesitate to name him "The new Paganini of the guitar", Steve Howe, who considers him one of the guitarists who influenced his career, along with Steve Morse of Deep Purple and Martin Taylor and says "'It was very exciting for me to listen to Flavio Sala" and Paco de Lucia, who said, after hearing Flavio in 2001: "He has a great technical ability." Also involved in artistic production, Flavio Sala is founder, developer, producer and artistic director of "International Web Music Talents" ("I.W.M.T."), an annual competition open to all instruments and musical styles of the world with no age limit (http://www.Facebook.com/InternationalWebMusicTalents).
