Joel Swift 20 years old - Rythym Guitar and Vocals,
Louis Russell 20 years old - Lead guitar backup vocals,
Jake Jarvis 23 years old - Bass guitar,
Jared Swift 26 years old - Drums
Influences
All around, the biggest influences would probably have to be: The Beatles, Barenaked ladies, Cream/Eric Clapton, and some Jack Johnson. Believe me there are a lot more than these, any classic rock band honestly, the radio never leaves 92.3
Hey, we're FLORENCE AVE. lets see, as of right now we've only really been playing together as a band for about six months or so which is kinda funny since i (Joel) have played the guitar for the last couple of years and my brother (Jared) used to play drums for a jazz band like 12 years ago and my cousin (Jake) started playing the bass in orchestra when he was in 5th grade, so you would think that being as close of friends as we have always been our whole lives that something would have come out alot longer than 6 months ago. But me and jared started playing some songs together that i learned , and meanwhile Jake was out jammin with Louis who was just playin around on the guitar for 5 years but him and jake started playin about a year ago and it wasnt till about 7 months ago we all went.. hmmm wait a sec.... Two brothers, playing singing, with no band, cousin and friend playing bass and lead guitar with no band... I guess it was just a matter of time.

Thanks for adding me on! I'm happy to be on your list.
My 5th CD is steadily heading towards a Fall release and is sounding great so far. Money is tight, though, and you could make a big difference by simply buying some of my music from www. philputnam. com or iTunes. Your support is much needed and greatly appreciated.

you're one of those bands that sounds pretty good in the studio, but the live shows are where your strength is. for people who haven't seen these guys live you need to. good luck louis and the rest of the guys.
