Skyline Press
"10 out of 10! These songs chronicle everything anyone has ever felt down deep inside with a both a clear-eyed resignation and a literate appreciation of the individual moments that make a life more than the sum of its parts."
Sound The Sirens Magazine
"This entire album is just pouring out with gorgeously heartbreaking material. Thomas is a poet before a songwriter, and he keeps that penchant for lyrical integrity close to his chest quite well. "

"An amazing display of musical talents and styles that leave the listener in awe."
Driven Far Off
"The album displays its lyrical greatness on so many levels... Foreverinmotion exemplifies the possibilities of what is categorized as "emo(tional) music" – that is to say, the album is a musical delight, plain and simple."

Foreverinmotion is the music of Brendon Thomas, a 24 year old Vermont native with a quiet charm and an angelic voice who just might be your new favorite one-man band. His critically acclaimed new album, The Beautiful Unknown, is in stores now on One Eleven Records.
It began in a bedroom on a four track tape recorder in the winter of 2000 as an acoustic side-project. In 2004, upon the dissolution of his previous band, Blind Luck Music, Thomas wrote and recorded his debut full length, on which he used an old Ovation acoustic guitar his father traded a jeep for in the late 70’s. The album was self-titled ‘foreverinmotion.’
Thomas explains, "the name foreverinmotion stems from something I wrote in my journal about time, and how the only thing that truly exists is the present, moment by moment, forever in motion. I liked the feeling of that perspective, so I went with it. I chose to spell it as one word simply because I liked the look." To his surprise, the album found a very good deal of attention online. Within four months of the 2004 debut release, Foreverinmotion had thousands of new fans gushing, a handful of great reviews, and the start of something very special. For the remainder of the year, he toured with a backing band to promote the record.
In June of 2006, Thomas recorded and released the original version of FIM’s sophomore release, The Beautiful Unknown. After a long summer of independently touring on the new record, Foreverinmotion caught the ear of A&R reps from the Florida based indie label One Eleven Records. After numerous conversations with 111 President and founder, Brad Fischetti, a deal was negotiated and Thomas signed on to re-release the record with the label.
Says Fischetti, "Brendon has created a beautiful record. He has the unique ability to combine thoughtful and introspective lyrics with lush musical arrangements. Brendon has a compelling voice and a heart-wrenching live show which together should garner him new fans in every city he plays. We are very excited about the opportunity to be working with Brendon and his project, Foreverinmotion."
Opting to record the album on his own, The Beautiful Unknown was entirely produced, engineered, and performed by Thomas at his home in Vermont, and illuminates his abilities not only as a performer, but as a talented engineer as well. The record spans the genres of indie, folk, rock, and pop, and reaches out on many levels of his lyrical brilliance. "Brendon displays significance, proximity, intelligence, playfulness… Foreverinmotion exemplifies the possibilities of what is categorized as ‘emo(tional) music.’ That is to say, the album is a musical delight, plain and simple." (Valida Prentice, DrivenFarOff.com) The album was released in stores on May 8th 2007, following a 3 week promotional tour with 111 label mates Rookie of the Year and Universal recording artists Making April. He also shot a music video for his first single, Hot Air Balloon, which is currently receiving airplay on TV stations throughout the country and internationally.
With over 7 months of touring, including festival performances at The Bamboozle at Giants Stadium in Rutherford, NJ, and South by Southwest in Austin, TX, Foreverinmotion was on the road for more than half of 2007. The live show can take on the form of a full band or a solo performance. With either account you will be treated to a natural and emotional experience carried by the power of Brendon’s voice, lyrics, and dynamics of a performance that has literally hushed audiences. Fans and newcomers alike report Foreverinmotion’s live show one of goosebumps, laughter, and tears, and will tell you there’s truly nothing like it.
