About me:
The Fowler family had built there house in a secluded area on the outskirts on the Town of Buffalo in 1796. This area, as they later found out, was a former Indian burial ground. Before long, the family noticed strange things happening. But determined to stay in the house he built, Ebenezer Fowler forced the family to accept the oddities.
After a few months, all of the family members began to die, one by one. Ellie, the mother, had died in the kitchen. Anna Beth, the middle child, had died in her bedroom among her dolls. Cornelius, the youngest son, was mysteriously killed in the cornfield behind the house. Benjamin, the eldest son, perished in the attic. And Ebenezer had died in a laboratory accident.
Many years later, once the area became inhabited in 1805, the house was demolished to make way for a logging company. Rumors began to start as to the mysterious death of the Fowler family. The first October after the logging company opened, in the field behind the mill, workers noticed a house had appeared. It was the Fowler’s house, also referred to as Fowler Manor. It had only appeared for about a week, and then vanished.
After only 7 months in business, the logging company closed its doors for good. As the area became more developed and roads were put in, the street was named Fowler avenue after the family that first occupied the area. Fowler Manor reappeared every October since then, and still does to this day. In fact, you can actually go inside Fowler Manor in October before it vanishes until next year.
Check out Fowler Manor, and get a glimpse in to the lives of the Fowlers, and their bizarre deaths. Some say that if you are brave enough to go into Fowler Manor, you can even see the family as if they still lived there.
