It was the summer of 1995 and the rave scene was in full swing, it was going off left right and center. All my older mates were hitting the major raves every weekend and coming back telling me stories of Airport hangers, Lazers, Dancers, Waltzers, White Gloves, Whistles and Horns and all the naughtyness that went with it. MAN I WANTED A PIECE OF THAT! So me and my pals decided to get hold of some fake i.d and that was it we were off down the Motorway on route to World Dance at Lydd Airport. As we got closer the ground began to tremor from the bassline of the sound system and once we were in that was like nothing I had ever experienced before, I think they call it euphoria!Ha From that moment on I was hooked! World Dance, Dreamscape, Elevation, Helter skelter, Labrinth man I hit them all! I first started spitting lyrics to old skool hardcore in my mates bedroom and then progressed into Jungle Drum N Bass. In 2000 I got my first break on some two bob pirate radio station in Essex, the phone line was going off the hook and I was loving it! It was only on air for a couple of months untill it got raided. From that moment onwards I was mcing at every given opportunity, if I wasn’t mcing in clubs, pubs or parties I was spitting lyrics with my mates in their bedrooms and garages. I had found my own personal high! In 2004 I linked up with the up and coming DJ FT, who I owe quite a lot to and now we have regular shows on Origin 95.1fm and Drumnbassworldwide.co.uk. I have been working the circuit ever since and I have hosted the M.I.C for dJ” s like Utah Jazz, Danny Byrd, Cyantific, Audio, Ratty (old skool) and Nicky BlackMarket to name but a few.
