G.I. Joe, pronounced G. I. Jizzo, is an underground super producer/artist hailing from the Middle of the Map. Raised in Gary, In from a tender age of less then a year, he witnessed real life tragedy and pain. He is Nigerian, with his father being native to the Mother Land and his mother from the Chi/Gary area. G.I. Jizzo has the pure blood of African Kings burning within his veins. This cultural influence tends to spill out upon tracks, being that he was raised on reggae and music native to Lagos, Nigeria. Jizzo is a well rounded individual with strong backgrounds in computer technology and studio/audio engineering just to high-light a few points. Jizzo has just finished producing his sophomore LP entitled "Chpt T.W.O. (The World is Ours)" of which is the second album from his group Da Guillo-Monstas.
Jizzo is the man behind the music who has taken no classes what-so-eva concering Music production. When asked whether he would consider taken up lessons in the future, his response, "It would be nice, I guess, but the best teacher is time and yo self. Trial and error. Some of the hottest shit Ive made has been through mistake."
