What happens with the Celtics, is that we draft all this young talent, but they waste away on the bench. So Ainge is thinking we trade some of it to the 76ers' that will probably include some of these guys. Al Jefferson, Delonte West, and Gerald Greene. The 76ers' want at least two, but ainge is buying the deal with Gerald Greene. So we will probably end up sending Jefferson and West with Wally for AI. Our starting lineup would like this.
If that does happen I think Pierces' numbers will die around AI. Cause AI has been known to be a ball hog. Look at Webber in Philly. Averaged 20+ a with Sacramento. Then he was traded and he averaged around 15. Then Rebounding will be an issue. Cause how is Gomes supposed to stack up with the bigger guys. Hell he is only 6'7. You cant really fault him there. Then our bench. Our weak weak bench. Gerald Greene, Tony Allen, Perkins/Ratliff(depending on which one starts), Rajon Rondo(R), Leon Powe(R), and Brian Scalabrine. That would be the worst bench in the NBA.
Looks like another sad season with the celtics, with or without AI.
I seriously think unless the celtics get AI. We will bomb worse than last season. Terrible management by Danny Ainge. I hope somebody beats him with a copper pipe.
