Hi everyone! This site is specifically for my gamegirl account and the people who would like to add me through here. My name is Amanda, but on Gamegirl.com I went by Rini! I wrote for the site for nearly a year, and this page is basically just to store my articles and such. =] I love video games. I'm more fond of older games, and my N64 is like a child to me, but I'll definitely get into some of the newer stuff too, like the 360. I've always been brought up a Nintendo girl, so that's normally where I direct my attention, but I'm open-minded :3

I started gaming around the age of five, and never stopped. My first real video game was Super Mario World, but the game that defined me as a gamer, and would forever keep my gaming obsession alive, was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. That game was above and beyond anything I ever imagined and expected, and I knew I was hooked. I don't think I ever really got out of the N64 phase because of that and Mario Kart. When Pokemon came out, there was no going back. I was absolutely obsessed. These are just a few games that defined me as a child growing up, but I rarely strayed from my cutesy/adventure games. I enjoyed Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2, but even that wasn't considered very hardcore. I didn't stray too far from series like that until I played Dead Space for the 360. That was a recent turning point for me, considering I don't like shooters and I don't like horror games. My gaming has changed some because of that, and I've become more open-minded in the games I look for. I'm definitely not your typical gamer, but I can assure you, I'm very passionate about it and I always have a good time.
