Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Canticle for Liebowitz, Any Terry Pratchett, Niel Gaiman, Sherman Alexie, Carl Hiaasen, Christopher Moore ("Lamb" and "A Dirty Job" should be required reading for life), and Bill Bryson, most Harlan Ellison (even if he is a dick). Like music, a little bit of everything, but I love sci/fi and fantasy most of all.
