About me:

I'm a plastic Barbie doll living in NoVa. I'm self-centered, egotistical, and completely devoid of any true thought or emotion. I'm high maintenance, a walking contradiction, and overall, pretty damn fucked up.

Oh, are you still here? Strange, you should have clicked away by now. Make of this what you will:

I tend to lean heavily towards the left, shun organized religion in general, and mock the average intellect of the religious right. I read a lot, am a news and blog junkie, and tend to be able to make up my own mind.

However, I do maintain an open mind, and an open heart, and believe that while there are a great many assholes running around, there are far more decent people left than we ever give credit for.

I believe in standing up for what you believe in, fighting for the truth and beauty inherent in all of life, and that love really does conquer all.

I've been accused of being mean, but what I've come to realize is that people who call me mean are usually people who feel the need to tear others down in order to build themselves up. I'm not mean, but I am direct. I say what I mean, mean what I say, and refuse to spend a lot of time dealing with abusive and rude people. If you get that, you'll get me.

Oh, and I swear. A lot. Fucking get over it.

Who I'd like to meet:

Real people with real thoughts and feelings. Compassionate people who care about where humanity is headed. Logical, reasonable people who have a sense of humor and understand the difference between pointed jabs and witty comebacks. Just be yourself, by yourself, and be honest at all times. We'll get on just fine.

If you can hold your own in a conversation without resorting to insults, drop me a line. If you like to go out and have a good time but understand that public drunkenness is pretty tacky, drop me a line. Like museums, bookstores, walking in the woods, going to the beach, dinner or bbqs with good friends? Definitely send me a note. Can you switch from a conversation about philosophy to which microbrew is the best without missing a beat? Seriously, I think I'd like to meet you.

Plastic people who are self-centered, egotistical, and completely devoid of any true thought or emotion. I'm afraid I can't articulate that enough. Self-centered people infuriate me. There is more to life than your ignorant bullshit. Srsly. I'm also pretty sure I don't want to meet one more person who wants to play head games or use someone to fulfill some deep seated twisted psychosis. Not sure if that's you? Look at the next list. Find yourself there? Yeah, don't call me, k?

Liars, players, cheaters, drunks, thieves, and anyone else who feels the need to waste my time. Let's throw self-centered in here again. If your life is so convoluted that attempting to see anything from another's point of view is too difficult, srsly, don't call me. Sex it up however you like, this woman has no time for that nonsense. If you equate feminism with man-hating, keep cruising. Looking for cheap sex? Move along, nothing to see here. How about you google yourself some big boobs and butts instead of wasting my time? I'm not your girl. I'm far too pretty for the likes of you. kthxbai!
