The San Francisco Hip Hop DanceFest is now booking for their legendary 10th year anniversary show, presented at the prestigious Palace of Fine Arts Theatre, November 21st-23rd 2008!
What we look for: · Professional Dance Companies from all over the Globe (Any size, from solo to group) · All styles of Hip Hop and Hip Hop Fusion · Use of Hip Hop styles in unique and interesting ways · Use of Hip Hop Dance to tell a story · Social Content/Commentary · Artistic Quality · Extraordinary Technical Skill and Ability · Representation of all ages, sexes, races, and sexual orientation
IF Hired : · SFHHDF will provide travel expenses and/or performance fees · Companies must provide to SFHHDF a URL, BIO and PHOTO · Companies must submit/audition the same piece that they intend to perform · Pieces must be between 6-9 minutes long · Companies will be invited to attend VIP events hosted by the SFHHDF

heyyyy everyone! as a fellow ucr student and an URB Mag intern, i wanted to share this with you:
URB is looking for American immigrants or first generation descendants who identify themselves equal parts "hip-hop" and their cultural heritage for a style feature in our July/August issue.
- The shoot will be taking place on May 24 and 25 of next week. You will only be required to be there one of those days.
- You must send a CURRENT PHOTO of yourself and a short description as to how you identify yourself as half hip hop and your culture. Please note: you must be an immigrant or 1st generation. We will immediately erase your email if there is no photo or write up.
- We would like to photograph you at a location that fits your heritage/ please send those ideas along with your email and explain what that locatiion means to you.

What's good Gopi? You going to Paid Dues Festival @ NOS? I can't wait see Brother Ali & The Visionaries. It's going to be tight not as good as Rock The Bells but still hellvagood.
