Hanney are a 7 piece band from Dundee, Scotland who together write powerful and socially conscious music from their hearts and souls. We have recently recorded three songs at seagate, our first proper studio recordings, and we are hoping to record a self funded album within the next year or so, which will hopefully include guest vocals/musicians, collaborations, remix's, artwork by Zone and Macism and videos!
In a live enviroment we really do try to put on an energy full show which have included a glow party and the infamous Hanney Festival, both of which were sell outs @ Dundee's Top Live Music Venue The Doghouse!
We have had very lttle airplay and no record company interest despite our growing poularity in Dundee but either of these would only be a bonus to doing what we love, writing, recording and gigging the music we believe wholeheartedly in! Hanney are more than a band. Hanney are a movement! Hanney are the Revolution!
