1st and foremost I have a purpose. I'm not in this music game to make a mill. I'm not trying to be raps savior or to rock diamonds our brothers and sisters are losing their limbs and lives over. I've never sold a kilo and if I did I wouldn't help the D.A.'s office out by detailing it in a mixtape 16.
That's not why I'm here.
I do this because I love my people and I love Hip-Hop music. I put my life on the line for this here and will continue to until the day I return to the essence.
Besides music I work with the youth in Jersey City, New Jersey. I stand strong in the knowledge that our seeds are the best part so it is our responsibility to provide them with all we have to offer so they can go further than we have, freedom is not awarded to the complacent.
Along side the 5th Column family and other people from our community we work to put together monthly food and clothing drives in which we dispense clothes, toys, canned food, and house hold items to whoever is in need.
These are the sounds of the modern day spiritual, warrior boom bap, sun of the blues, martyr music you hearing. To sum it all up my goal is Freedom, Justice and Equality.
Track Record:
I've been rhyming since I was yay high, bout 11 or 12 and started releasing music in 2002. I dropped my debut album Paradise Lost in '05 and won two Underground Music Awards, one for "Best Live Performance" and the other "Song of the Year" for the albums 1st single "Blaxploitation". I was featured on The Reavers album Terra Firma and I am an active member of the Grassroots Artist Movement.
I've rocked shows with Dead Prez, Common, Busta Rhymes, Saigon, Talib Kweli, The Rza, The Gza, Slick Rick, Lord Jamar, Sadat X, Smif N Wesson, Grandmaster Caz, Curtis Blow, Immortal Technique, Pharoahe Monch, Naughty By Nature, & Digital Underground to name a few.
In '07 I was on the "Red Gone Wild Tour" with Redman, Kidz in the Hall, Akir, Bashir, & DJ GI Joe. My high point in this Hip-Hop thing so far was rocking live on the air with the legendary Afrika Bambaataa on the wheels cutting up instrumentals.
With all this tho do trust I am nowhere close to an end, everyday I wake up hungrier and sharper than the day before, ready for war.
