About me:

I AM A HYBRID.

A Japo-Saxon, lefty-righty anti-socialite. A gun-enthusiast liberal. Former automotive worker now into the green movement. My mother is a first-generation Japanese immigrant, my father was a colonial descendent of the first British immigrants to the Massachusetts Bay Colony. I'm literally a hybrid!

I'm also a marketer, a creative professional, trying to find my way. I create corporate identities, help businesses build their brands, launch new products, name new services. The marketing biz isn't the glam industry it used to be...it's a lot more challenging now. But to create...whether an original tune, a podcast, a company name/logo or an advertisement...that keeps me going. Some day I'll ditch it all and become something REAL like a rough carpenter or organic farmer!

I've been a full-on gypsy, and have lived all over the US. Most recently I moved to Seattle from Los Angeles. I've moved in and out of so many cities, companies and groups, and have been blessed with (and appreciate) friends in many places. Although the faces start to blur together after awhile...

WHY AM I ON MYSPACE? To be honest, I get most of my social networking buzz from Flickr, not MySpace. I guess I'm looking to connect with interesting people, people who have done something with their lives...people who like me are seeking, learning, growing and striving. People like me who are grateful for what they have and want to give something back to the world.
