His backing players are:

Has the news about the death of Claude Lévi-Strauss reached the States yet? Everyone's really shaken; my philosophy professor came up to me this morning and asked if I knew, and he was fighting back the tears swelling in his eyes.
He was a great man, and a tremendous thinker; people today owe him more than they'll ever know. I still can't believe it...

Thanks for wishing me a Happy Birthday!!!!! It means very much to me. I'm looking forward to hear new songs from you. I also searched for your "All In Your Head" album from 1969, but I never found it. I'm watching your tour videos from last year without a break!! River Tyne is unbelievable good. I wish you all the best with your gigs and your work with Jim McCarthy. I live in Germany, so I don't have a chance to attend your concerts, but I saw you with Eric in Stuttgart last year.. Have a nice week!!!!

Hey Hilton,

Wish I *could* catch your show. Alas, I'm a day late and a dollar short on the opposite coast. I wish you well, though. Thanks for the invite!

Merci

D'oh!!
But I really do enjoy reading the page and listening, you know that. Because what you're playing is real skiffle music, and not the stuff by new performers people throw on the radio nowadays that's deliberately called folk, you know? I wish someone did a good rendition of 'John Henry', sometimes!
Anyway, I'll holler again when I get back to France- it's my last year in Europe before I move back to WA for my college years. And things are starting to run faster than I ever expected. It's getting impressive.
All the best,
Maurine

Hi Hilton, I'm just dropping in once more. Well, the music is wonderful, as always, it's one sound that'll never grow bad! I hope things are smoother nowadays and that your projects are coming along as you want them to. Honestly, who needs sticks in their wheels when the road's bad already? That's life.
Light and peace to you,
-Maurine
