This page (formerly the Help Kaleb Page) began when a group of people were touched by a Florida family and the needs they faced due to the horrendous tragedy they endured (see Kaleb’s story
). We set up this page to offer prayerful and financial support to the family. In seeing the tremendous outpouring of encouragement, donations, and prayers the family received- we could not help but to extend the same type of help and hope to others.
We will feature a family in need every two to three months. Our goal is to offer hope and support to families and individuals in need, in hopes of changing the world around us- one family at a time.
Please continue to partner with us as we “spread the word” through bulletins, chat rooms, and whatever means possible to raise awareness of each family’s needs. The more people who are aware of a family’s need- the more people who have the opportunity to help. PLEASE help us help more families! One person CAN make a difference, and together we can change lives and offer hope!
This page is a result of someone wanting to help her friend. She forwarded her friend’s story to all of her MySpace friends. Just like so many of you forwarded the story to your friends. One person sent this bulletin to someone who never even knew the family in need. That one person decided to take it a step further and start this page. Then as it grew, more people joined in, and together we are ALL making a difference!
If you would like to send your sentiments to the families we feature, please post a comment, it will be easier for the family to view it than emails.
We will also be accepting donations for the Hope And Support Page. Although MySpace is FREE, we have been incurring costs due to the growing size of this website. In the past, we have absorbed the costs from our own resources. PLEASE UNDERSTAND: It is our FULL desire that as much profit will go towards these families as possible, so any UNUSED funds will go toward the featured families and/or the Kaleb Schwade Foundation (the foundation set up in honor of Kaleb). We will also be posting a list of our current needs (envelopes, packing materials, file folders, etc.), so that those who are unable to give financially may also have an opportunity to aid us in helping more families/individuals in need.

I am so happy to hear that kaleb is doing so much better everyday . Congratulations on the new one on the way , i am sure that will also help kaleb along with improving so he can play with either a sister or a brother. I will be praying for chase and his family, i my self knows how hard it is to lose someone close , I lost my mother and still cant seem to find a way to get through it , my prayers and thoughts will go out for all of you , just keep praying , prayers go a long way , love always mccord family
I am so happy that you keep us posted on Kaleb's progress. I have followed the story of his tragic ordeal since the very beginning and have been a friend of this page since the beginning also. Since Kristy made her profile private, I have not been able to see any new pictures of Kaleb and was hoping that you could maybe post them on here. I have sent her friend requests, but have not been added yet. I know that she is busy and I respect her privacy, but I would LOVE to see with my own eyes Kaleb's amazing feats!! You have a big heart and I wish there were more people like you in the world :) I have been following Kaleb's story from the very beginning and I actually have Kristy on my friends list, so I get to read all the updates on Kaleb, he is making such good progress!!! did it scare you to see your baby like this my name is Jose iam 6yrs old I want to know how the baby is doing is he still in the hospital ?it was very sad to see something like this happen to a baby. I hope and pray that the baby will get better. you should do something about it just try to put her in jail forever.Me and my family will pray for you guys.If you have another baby make sure you put him or her with a safe babysitter

Hi all, just wanted to let everyone know what has happened in the last few days.My niece took my great niece to her dads so he could spend time with her. She was shaking by her own dad just 2 days ago. She (Mya) is in the hospital with bleeding on the brain and other injuries. The ***hole is in jail now. The police took away the other child until they know for sure that she will be safe with her mom and dad. The dad (***hole) is not the father of the other child. Mya is only about 6 months old, sha was born early and had to stay in the hospital the first month of here life, with tubes and O2.
Please update Kalebs Mommy blog she posted a new one and I would love to hear how he is doing. Reading those blogs give me hope and inspiration please please please I look forward to reading those.
