About me:
Ever since I could remember I loved playing music for an audience. At a young age, I was inspired by disco, Latin and early hip-hop movement in the 80’s. I remember trying to loop with a tape deck. By the age of 15, I bought my first pair of turntables and within the same month I was already booked for weddings, sweet sixteen’s, and many local gigs. In the late 80’s, early 90’s I began listening to third generation Red Zone tapes by DJ David Morales. These tapes first introduced me to house music. House combined every genre of music I was ever inspired by. I was moved by it, and knew this was the music I wanted to play. I continued to DJ at local events. In the mid 1990’s I moved to Pittsburg and gained the reputation as one of the leading house DJ’s in Pittsburg, PA. I was playing at some of the most well-known house clubs in the city; Kaya Lounge, Lava Lounge, the Metropol, and the Andy Warhol Museum just to name a few. Many people compared me to the Masters at Work team. I moved back to New York in 2003, and tried to continue my movement in New York. Moving back forced me to get back to my old roots. In order to survive in the city, I played at any local gigs thrown my way. That meant playing Latin, hip-hop, soul, R&B, anything the audience wanted. I will probably continue to DJ and expressing myself artistically for the rest of my life. It is a true blessing and I appreciate it greatly. Besides the groupies, my ultimate fulfillment as a DJ is touching my audience in a way they never forget. When a stranger comes up to me and reminisces about one of my past gigs, I know I have touched someone. This is what drives me to do what I do best.

Indicant's new self-titled single "Indicant" is a gleaming, polished slice of underground tech/electro house heaven. The Hub Mix is a booming main-floor number with a bouncy cone-shaking bassline and bending 80's-style synth chords. A chopped-up hiphop vocal sample creates a tight background groove along with a peak-hour electric arpeggio. The Rub Mix is a shuffling experimental tech-house piece with strange dueling basslines syncopated off of each other on top of a thundering vintage kickdrum and clattering percussive elements. Digweed protege Royal Sapien is on bloodbath duty with his Butchered Remix, a machine-gun of big breakbeat drums and dark bass elements interspersed with his signature progressive elements.
