Finding the best programming we can for our listeners. We carry the The Twilight Zone Radio Dramas on Saturday mornings at 8AM and Sunday afternoons at 4PM. We carry a very well produced 90's show called Retro Stars, the 90's Show and, we bring you Dave Graveline's Into Tomorrow Tech Feature and Chaz Allen's Little Known Facts show every weekday. We're also the home for two hours of radio drama weeknights from 9 to 11 PM with the "Mystery Theatre" hosted by Christopher Lee beginning March 2, 2009! We're excited to have this and all our other unique shows as part of WION's unique programming for the Ionia County area! Visit our website for details on these shows at I-1430, WION Radio ..

We've been called a "hybrid". We bring a mixture of what the radio industry calls Classic Rock, Oldies, and Adult Contemporary formats to the airwaves. Our Music Director, Jim Aaron always wants your feedback, and can be heard hosting shows during remotes, and on the occasional Saturday, too! Jim has his hands full now, as he has become Music Director for our new sister station(s) WGLM AM and WGLM FM in Greenville and Lakeview, Michigan, too!
  • Movies

Of course...any good movies about radio!
  • Television

What's that? Radio for slow learners? Oh yeah, there WAS WKRP in Cincinnati, now on DVD, and recently on WGN on Sunday evenings. (also on American Life TV one night a week)
  • Books

Recommended reading for fans of radio and broadcasting: "Airwaves Over Alaska" "Wizard of the Wind" "Hello, Everybody" The Dawn of American Radio.
  • Heroes

Everyone who continues to spread the word about our radio station, and promotes listening to it in our area! And, everyone who helped "jump-start" the new I-1430 back in 2004....including (if not especially) our station's Radio Engineers without whom we would not have the best AM sound you'll find on the dial and the recent FCC signal expansion approval! Like in any business, it's the people "behind the scenes" who help make an organization great! Also in the hero department are our listening businesses, who believe in "tuning in" each day at their establishments. We're glad to be the "most recommended" station in the Ionia County area. ..
