The band originally started out in November 2003 as Fear 13, with current members Scott Javens, and Aaron Banks. Shawne Meade was the original bass player, and Mitch Godsey was on drums. A few songs were written during this time, but things didn't start coming together until Fear 13 disbanded for about a month and was reborn as Idle Hour. Since then we have had our ups and downs and a few member changes, but now we are stronger than we have ever been before. We have had the honor of having some great musicians in our band, including Adam Lawson on bass, who helped us get things going, Wes Chambers, the drummer who expanded what we were able to do, and really put us up on the next level with our music, and Tony Dixon who filled in for Wes and allowed us to pull 7 shows in May 2008. Now with Kris Goins on rhythm guitar, Adam Lawson back on bass and Tim Smith on the drums, we are ready to get back out there and do what we love to do. We hope you enjoy the music we've written, and hope to see you at a show soon! Keep those horns up!
