IDX1274 is a reclusive noise artist and soundscaper residing in the Sinister & Secluded Hills of Oregon. IDX1274 is a philanthropist artist, giving away his deluxe art editions to those on his mailing list and those he meets through online chats as well as at gigs. IDX1274 plays live infrequently, but when he does play he has used such amplified devices as Paper Shredders, Vacuumes, Metal Grinder, Untuned Radios, Shopping Carts, Bread Machines, House Fans & Car Horns to name just a few. IDX1274 has a pending release on Pretentious.net 's The Label due sometime in 2005. Pretentious is home to Muslimgauze, ex-Zoviet France acts like Andy Earley's Delayer & Robin Storey's Rapoon, John Hudak, Omenya & Birds of Tin. IDX1274 is available for live performances usually for travel expenses, a place to stay and a bit of "hospitality".
THE RONNIE VAN ZANT BAND - 10/13/07 NORCAL NOISEFEST @ THE SPACE, SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA
For his performance at The 2007 NorCal Noisefest in Sacramento, California IDX1274 conjured up an all-star expanded line up of his side project known as "The Ronnie Van Zant Band" when he was joined by JM Ginsberg and UFO as Bacteria for some improvisational sonic harshness!! IDX1274 manipluates a vintage Playskool Sit n' Spin like a giaint turntable with a toddlers Fisher-Price Popper as the stylus while JM plays an effected duet for open mic and cymbal alongside UFO as Bacteria making the threadwork to hold it all together. This was the 3rd performance by TRVZB to date, which is usually a duo consisting of IDX1274 and JM Ginsberg!!
