I’m a New York City based Stand-Up comedian and comedy writer and have been performing stand-up since 1999. I was recently featured in the Boston Comedy Festival and have appeared in Jennifer Lopez’s new reality show "The Glow After Dark Show". In 2007 my account of life with my grandmother resulted in a full page article for the New York Daily News. You can currently see me performing all over the country and hear me on Comcial Radio every week. For booking information email Booking@ChrisIacono.com
NOFX, The Vandals, Bad Religion, Pennywise, The Aquabats, Mustard Plug, Less Than Jake, Portishead, Revrerend Horton Heat, Flogging Molly, Radiohead, Rob Zombie, Slipknot, AFI, The Dead Kennedy's, Anti-flag, The Misfits, Fat Boy Slim, Nine Inch Nails. Bad Boy Bill....and more.
Movies
I can't stand anything starring Nicholas Cage (bleh) and hate when movies deteriorate into break-dancing or montages.... I love almost everything directed by or starring Mel Brooks, Woody Allen, Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubric, Martin Scorcese, Kevin Smith and Month Python. My 10 favorite movies are, The Goonies, Willow, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Clerks, Aliens, Goodfellas, Anne Hall, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, both Evil Deads and Clockwork Orange.
Television
TV will rot your brain, however I like channel 7 and 13, they aren't as snowy looking as the other 4 channels I have. Give me Literature and Whiskey or give me death....However I do suffer from a severe addiction to documentary's about Quantum Physics, String Theory and Black Holes....But seriously, TV pretty much blows. If you're one those people who actually care which celebrity is dancing this week, or have voted on American Idol, you need to go find a hobby cause you're pretty useless to the world right now.....
Books
Now defining yourself through books is a whole different story. Tom Robbins, Bukowski , Hunter S. Thompson R.I.P, Tom Wolf, Steinbeck, Frank Herbert, Kurt Vonnegut, David Sedaris, Ken Kesey, Steven King, Douglas Adams, Augusten Burroughs, Tolkien...
These are the first three episodes from the new web series that I'm in called "Stone Broke" please check it out and let me know what you think. Thank you.
The shot monster is no longer, there are times when I miss him, but life has proved much better with his absence. Come to think of it he wasn't even around on new years. You bring out the shot monster I think. Just looking at your page right now makes me want to go to the bar at 2 in the afternoon. Ahhhh you taught me so much.
How the hell is everything going with you? There are days I feel like resurrecting the shot monster but then realize the blackouts, just aren't worth it, nor is waking up with a crack pipe in your hand, or naked with pee all over yourself, especially when it's your fathers pee, although shot monster is sadly missed at times, I am much happier now. Don't get me wrong I get drunk, I just don't get so drunk that I fantasize about raping male midgets in 6 inch stilettos while they are each holding onto purple balloons and stuffed animals that resemble catholic priests. Okay I need to put an end to this for I could keep going. Damn morphine.
