Boys for Pele, I thought she had broken away from that era with her American Doll Posse album. Personally I miss her 'Under the Pink' Days. I'm going to search Ophelia as soon as I'm done typing this mess, since you highly suggest it, and I get the impression that you know your shit. I've only seen her live on video, and amazingly she's one of the few people who i think has a better live performance than the sound on her records. You can really get caught up in the emotion she pours out. Plus, she plays piano like a fucking god. Makes me drool. Favorite live performance was 'Blood roses' on the Rain Tour. Fucking AMAZING!!!! If your bandmates say anything, I'll just deny that this conversation ever happened :P

The way she approaches her lyrics is brilliant, the way she works her voice enviable. I, for one, think it's badass that you like Lady Gaga. Fucking love lady gaga and most guys who do are too chicken shit to admit it. Why, I don't know....a guy saying he likes a hot chick dressed in nothing but a body suit thrusting her hips everywhere is pretty normal, I'd think. Love who you love!
