Here you will find mysteries wrapped in enigmas sprinkled with tartar sauce and served in a spinach burrito. "Music is my life"-I once said and I meant it. Instead of pretending, I pretend that I am faking it and with that I became who I thought I wanted not to be. Case in point: chocolate cake. Instead of bilateral pluralism I exercise unilateral existentialism. To be or not to be equals zero. Sometimes I rant and sometimes I rave and sometimes I ray-van-rayve-rah, well you get the point. And the point is.....(drum roll please)............Yes! You guessed it Chocolate Cake! See you are catching on and you are not as confused as you think you are therefore you are not as smart as you thought you weren't. My mind is an open book waiting to be read, discussed, debated and sautéed with a nice Chianti. I think in music and I see in movies so if we are ever talking I will be hearing "Sweet Home Alabama" and watching "The Fifth Element" projecting on your face like a drive in Movie Theater. But you would never know it because I programmed my face to voluntary twitch according to the cadence of your voice. Religion is like toast to me so if you put a little butter and nutella on it, its tolerable. Not that I am an atheist, in fact I am antianthiest. Actually, the antiatheist movement is gaining momentum which is why I dedicate 100% of my album sales to the AntiAtheist Relief Fund. So now that you have finished your ham and cheese sandwich and are wondering what to do next let me suggest a trifecta of options: 1.) Cut a hole in the box 2.) Put your junk in the box and 3.) Have her open the box. Or you can enter the realm of the unknown in which case I can guide you like Gollum does in the Lord of the Rings; naked, angry and battling my multiple personality disorder. Oh, so the unknown is my music, which is why you are here. You can hear me alone or by myself either way is fine. Listen, buy and multiply that’s my motto! So drop me a message and tell me you love me or hate me or give me a virtual high five or if you see me, a nonvirtual low five.

I've been enjoying your CD so much that I went out and made 300 copies of it. And then I photoshopped my name on the cover, because I wish I had recorded it.
Now I have a slight problem. Y'see, the music on the CD is so good that I got hired to do a gig this weekend. And I have no idea how to play anything on the CD. So I'm thinking of taking the Milli Vanilli approach, where they play the CD and I'll pretend I'm playing something. What would this be called? Guitar-syncing? Anyway, I will let you know how the gig goes.
* = This is a made-up story, other than the part about me enjoying your CD tremendously. :)
Michael! Haven't seen you post any performance dates for a while, bro! Hope all is well. I hope you don't mind, but I kind of covered "Hanging Gardens" at the Lee Rd. Phoenix Coffee open mic night this past wednesday. It's thebomb. com. Don't worry, I gave you your props! If you're ever interested in working on a duet, gimme a holler!

Yo Michael! Thanks for the tip about the DADGAD thingamashizzle! I havent messed around with alternate tunings until recently after listening to your stuff as well as Andy Mckee and Don Ross and such. The 151451 has helped me with the improv type stuff I was trying for after studying a lot of sitar and sarod stuff from india. Helps focus on the melody and not worry about chord fingerings getting in the way! DRONE AWAY, BABY!
Whats up Michael? Good stuff. I'm a guitar player and aspiring composer from Cleveland, studying with Richard Holsworth at Tri-C Eastern campus. Couple questions. 1: What alternate tunings do you use, and why did you choose them (necessity of playing during composition, like the way they sound, etc?) 2. Are you planning on playing/promoting your album down at Wade Oval during the Parade the Circle Thingie in june? Keep on rockin
