FM radio around here is fuckin pitiful so about the only thing I listen to on there is the 'Elliot In The Morning' show on DC101. Other than that my radio is set to AM sports talk radio like the 'Jim Rome Show'.
Movies
I like most all genres and I have too many favorites to list. Too many favorite actors/actresses to list too.
I saw a really interesting documentary recently called, 'Zeitgeist'. It's about the manipulation of the general public by government and religious leaders. One of the most fascinating things I've ever seen. You can watch the entire film at the link above.

"The Bourne Trilogy", "American Gangster", "No Country For Old Men", "Georgia Rule".
When I'm watching TV it's usually on one of the following: 'Discovery Channel', 'History Channel', 'PBS', or sometimes A&E, TNT, AMC, SpikeTV, FX, Fox, USA, MTV, VH1, or CMT.

BOOKS I GOT RECENTLY: 'SLASH' by Slash & Anthony Bozza, 'The Illustrated Directory of Guitars' by Nick Freeth, 'Black Order' by James Rollins, 'The Book Of Fate' by Brad Meltzer, 'The Mark' by Jason Pinter, and 'Polar Shift' by Clive Cussler.
READ RECENTLY: 'SLASH' (Slashs autobiography), 'If I Did It' (OJ Simpson's quasi-confession), are the only two Ive read recently.
The last I read before that were the 'Walk This Way' the Aerosmith biography, 'Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana', Marilyn Manson's autobiography, and a book called '15 To Life: How I Painted My Way To Freedom' by Anthony Papa.
My favorite books as a kid were 'The Prydain Chronicles' by Lloyd Alexander.
I like books about science, nature, space, mysteries and the unexplained, true crime, biographies and autobiographies of musicians or celebrities.
My Uncle Mike just loaned me some AMAZING books on the Civil War, World War II, and sky-watching... can't wait to get into those!
My Father. He's truly a great man and I owe him more than I could repay in two lifetimes.

About me: My name is Justin Catrow, I'm 29 years old and live in Inwood,WV. I grew up in Gerrardstown,WV and have lived in the Martinsburg area all my life except for some time spent in Virginia Beach,VA. I definitely prefer country/rural living. I have a great relationship with my family and would describe myself as intelligent, loyal, honest, skeptical by nature but still open-minded, and artistic. I'm a musician, guitar player to be exact, and I like many different types of music and it's definitely the thing I'm most passionate about in life.
I've played guitar since my early teen years... not really sure what age I started. I'm self-taught for the most part. I did take lessons briefly, but only long enough to be shown the pentatonic scale and then I was outta there! In the summer of 2006 my sister's ex and I formed a metal band called 'BY DEMONS BE DRIVEN'. The original line-up wasn't together all that long, but we played a ton of shows, placed 1st Runner-Up in the "Headbang For The Highway" battle-of-the-bands after being together less than 6 months, and recorded a 5-song EP called "Through Dying Eyes". Several of the original 'BDBD' members got back together in March of 2008 and will hopefully be back out playing shows again this summer. Be sure to check out our/my music in the mp3 player below!
I'm also interested in other paying gigs such as soundtracks, session work, fill-ins, side projects, etc. Metal is my favorite music of course, but I enjoy playing & listening to other types too. I've played in rock bands and even written guitar parts for hip-hop songs... I'm open to collaborating/writing all forms of music, though I'm definitely better at some than others. I like nearly all forms of entertainment; music, movies/TV/plays, stand-up comedy, etc. I really dig science, history, space, mysteries, nature, and animals. I like to read and watch shows about all of those subjects. I like football and have been a Chicago Bears fan since the first time I saw Walter Payton (R.I.P.) play as a kid. I'm also a West Virginia Mountaineers fan! My 2nd favorite sport is hockey and the Washington Capitals are my favorite team! I also like some boxing/MMA, a lil' bit of basketball, and shooting pool... but I can't stand baseball.
I DON'T like people that: don't say what they mean, don't speak their minds, don't think for themselves, lack their own identity, are two-faced, are dishonest, are disloyal, are judgemental, lack a sense of humor, or over-use political correctness. I also can't stand organized religion. Im fine with spirituality... there's a HUGE difference.

Our 3rd annual 'Labor Day Metalfest' will be Sunday August 31st with bands starting at 4pm sharp, so please show up before then! 8 bands for $5... and featuring the return of 'BY DEMONS BE DRIVEN'!!!
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet, or have met, any of my many favorite musicians like Slash, Dimebag Darrell (R.I.P.), Johnny Cash (R.I.P.), etc. I'd also like to meet Stanton Friedman, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Albert Einstein (R.I.P.), Dr.J.Allen Hynek (R.I.P.), Carl Sagan (R.I.P.), or Galileo Galilei (R.I.P.), so I could pick their brains about outer space. Some other interesting people that I can think of would be or have been Henry Pugh (my Grandfather, R.I.P.), Hunter S. Thompson (R.I.P.), Elliot Segal and 'The Class', Morgan Spurlock, Bill Hicks, or George Carlin (R.I.P.). Maybe some of my favorite athletes like Walter Payton (R.I.P.), Brett Favre, or Alex Ovechkin. And then maybe some Hollywood hotties like Jill Wagner, Anne Hathaway, Emmanuelle Chriqui, or Robin Meade from CNN... and any of my favorite actor/actresses.
