Music is my favorite thing in life. I like lots of different types and styles as well as lots of different instruments. I've got a metal band, which you can find links to here on my page as well.
I also like lots of other sorts of entertainment such as movies/t.v., books, and video games. I just got an Xbox 360 (Gamertag: JMCatrow). I'm definitely an animal lover, but not a PETA-freak. I'm also interested in nature, science, history, space, and mysteries and/or the unexplained.

FM radio around here is fuckin pitiful so about the only thing I listen to on there is the 'Elliot In The Morning' show on DC101. Other than that my radio is set to AM sports talk radio like the 'Jim Rome Show'.

READ RECENTLY: 'SLASH' (Slashs autobiography), 'If I Did It' (OJ Simpson's quasi-confession), are the only two Ive read recently.
The last I read before that were the 'Walk This Way' the Aerosmith biography, 'Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana', Marilyn Manson's autobiography, and a book called '15 To Life: How I Painted My Way To Freedom' by Anthony Papa.
My favorite books as a kid were 'The Prydain Chronicles' by Lloyd Alexander.
I like books about science, nature, space, mysteries and the unexplained, true crime, biographies and autobiographies of musicians or celebrities.
My Uncle Mike just loaned me some AMAZING books on the Civil War, World War II, and sky-watching... can't wait to get into those!

About me: My name is Justin Catrow. I'm 30 years old and live in West Virginia. I grew up in the Martinsburg,WV area and went to Musselman High School.
I love music and I'm a guitar player. Not really sure when I started playing... 14 or 15, I think. I took lessons briefly but am self-taught for the most part. In the summer of 2006 I founded a metal band called 'BY DEMONS BE DRIVEN'. So far we've recorded one album and are getting ready to start work on our second. 'BDBD' is my main endeavour, but I'm also interested and available for other musical projects such as soundtracks, session work, show/tour fill-in, side projects, etc. Metal is my favorite music of course, but I enjoy playing, writing, and listening to many other types as well. I like pretty much all forms of entertainment... be it music, movies/TV/plays, stand-up comedy, video games, etc. Some of my other interests include science, history, space, mysteries, nature, and animals. I like to read books and watch shows about all of those subjects. I'm also a big football and hockey fan. My favorite NFL team is the Chicago Bears and has been since I was a wee-one. My favorite college football team is the West Virginia Mountaineers. The last few years my favorite sport has been NHL hockey and my favorite NHL team is the Washington Capitals! I also enjoy shooting pool and I like to watch boxing & MMA too. I can tolerate a lil' bit of basketball and Nascar, but I can't get into baseball at all.
Some things I DON'T like are people that don't say what they mean, don't speak their minds, don't think for themselves and/or lack their own identity, preach, are two-faced, are dishonest, disloyal, judgemental, or hypocrites, lack a sense of humor, or are overly "politically correct". I could also do without organized religion.

Any of my favorite musicians like Slash, Dimebag Darrell (R.I.P.), Johnny Cash (R.I.P.), or any of the musicians listed to the left in the "Music" section... both lists could go on forever. Maybe a few scientific-types like Neil deGrasse Tyson, Albert Einstein (R.I.P.), J.Allen Hynek (R.I.P.), Carl Sagan (R.I.P.), Stanton Friedman, Galileo Galilei (R.I.P.), Stephen Hawking, or Edgar Cayce so I could pick their brains about physics, astronomy, and unexplained phenomena. I don't buy into them all but I'd also like to talk to William Cooper (R.I.P.), Peter Joseph, Alex Jones, or Jessie Ventura about conspiracy theory type stuff cause I find it interesting. Some other people I'd like to meet/met would be my Grandfather, Henry Pugh (R.I.P.), who died before I was born. Or writer Hunter S. hey bro, let's let go of our vices and become the band we should've became a long time ago. It's never too late though. Let;s be that great band we were always meant to be. We still have time to leave our mark in the music world. and I'm so hungry. I want it more than anything. And I've always wanted to do it along side my best friend. That has never changed. So what's the deal with the band right now? I guess what I'm asking are you ready to get it going once again for one more serious run with no bs and no looking back. I'm doing nothing but getting older and I want to give it one more shot before it'sall said and done.
