The photos of the children below don't have any homes...don't have any parents or enough food for the day. I've decided to do something about it, the little I can offer. My debute album Strong Enough is a charity record. The bigger half of the profit will be given to the streetkids of Bukarest, Rio de Janeiro and St. Petersburg. They need love, safety, education, nursing care, and also help to start a new life. Without any funds it's impossible for them to live at all. Once upon a time a little girl felt she wanted to do something she had never done before. It had to be something fun but also something useful. After some thinking she came up with many ideas, but for none of them she had a “yes” in her heart. She decided to ask her wise and old dad for advice, and he said: “Sing! Sing for the people of our country. In that way you will earn your own money. With money you can help people in need. Therefore, you will do something you like and also be useful”. The girl thought it was a magnificent idea and she did as her father advised her.
This little girl is me, Julia. I recorded a CD and there are three reasons why I did: I like to sing, I want people to hear about Jesus, and I want to help homeless children. With this CD I can make this dream come true by supporting Läkarmissionen’s work among homeless children. For many years and in many places, Läkarmissionen has helped children in difficult situations and given them love, safety, education, nursing care, and also help to start a new life.
