This is where you will definitely get acquainted whith whom I am, a searcher, a truth seeker, a person whom truly loves life, but am sorely disappointed at this moment for I see so much wrong happening, such as greed, lies, taking advantage of, in other words we need to clean up our own homeland and then maybe we will be in a position to help others.
My High School is not listed as I graduated from Glendale High School in 1947, yes and I remember very well when Pear Harbor was straifed and bombed, was horrible. Kind of did my thing, working for my bread and butter and more or less having fun and then I joined the Women's Army Corp in 1951 and I might add it was a wonderful experience, that was when we were seperate, anyway I chose the Army and was in it for four years - went to Heidelburg, Germany - Patton Barracks and also to Okinawa where I met my waterloo. Served in the Signal Corp, to start.
Life went on and finally around 1957 decided it was time to have my own transportation, did that and then did I have fun for awhile, even though I had tried the relationship/marriage thing didn't last very long as my No. 1 husband died but left me a momento, a son which was okay for that just propelled me into going to work full time and no hanky panky. Worked in a couple of hospitals for approximately 12 years, something was happening to my life, did try marriage again and this time it lasted a couple of years until my No. 2 husband died thusly leaving me with 2 little boys to take care of, no problem just continued in hospital work which at time was great pay for the times. As I said I knew something was happening couldn't put my finger on it but seemed I had a problem with alcohol, no kidding you say, so did I and attempted to stop, hey I couldn't wow what is this stupid,sure gave it a good try.
Finally in 1942 decided to try a program of recovery and finally I made the right choice and it was hard, very hard but kept perservering and somehow made it and now it is 2009 and as I look back my mistake right along, can't blame anybody and now I know I am addicted to alcohol all the way and have a wonderful way to go, no problem today for have learned to live one day at a time, in other words stay in the NOW. Thanks for letting me share anybody can beat this addition if they really in truth want to.
