James Beaudry started playing guitar 2 and a half years ago and has played in 3 bands before really taking his solo project to the next edge. He was lead singer for a band called "Seven Second Tragedy", there were a band for about a year, They only played 2 shows ever, then James felt it was his turn to follow in the footsteps of so many other great rockers, James left the band to start working on his solo project.
In May of 2007, James started up his band "Land To Nowhere", which will be getting back together sometime in late 2009, James is very proud of LTN. They were around for not even 3 months and had already sold out 3 shows, and even got a chance to open for Canada’s own Rides Again. James also drummed for a band called screech and boom for a short time, he played a total of 6 shows with them before he left.
James released his debut solo album "End Of Time" Nov 7th 2008 at axis cafe in Edmonton Alberta A lot of people ask where James gets his Ego from, and he says “It’s all in my head, I know I have what it takes to be the next gene simmons, I know I have what it takes to be the next Kiss of the 21st century, you need the balls to stick it to the man and show him you have what it takes, or you will never make your dream come true, or better yet in my case, my goal come true ” and that’s the attitude he always has in mind where ever he goes.
As Gene Simmons says “ Never be shy about promoting yourself, because if you don’t, noone will”, that’s all that James does where ever he goes, he talks about his music to people and about his plans In life, he always has his MP3 on him so if someone asks “What do you sound life?” he says “Here, take a listen”.
Alot of people ask James why he always has a pen and a note pad with him, all he says is “ Idea’s, songs, anything that pops in my head, I write down, you never know when you may need it”.
James has alot of plans ahead of him for 2009, writting new music as well as working on writing 2 new projects and writing on his follow up album "Unexplainable" which is due out for the summer of 2010.
