Originally from Pembroke, Ontario and now hailing from Toronto, Ontario Johnny Went Under is the perfect blend of fast melodic punk with an emo edge. The band underwent a line up change in 2006 and is finally starting to make some major headway. Front man Joey Caughey has been writing music for the last 10 years and has blended an amazing, fast, emotional, and unique style that has really come to fruition -- and with the help and talent of drummer Owen Wright of "Spectrum" fame the group has really created a great flow and dynamic.
With the collaboration of Independent Producer Jamie Matsukubo at MatchVox Studios the band is set to release their power punk debut EP entitled "Hope" scheduled for a March 10th 2008 release date.
