Josh Belville - guitar, bass, vox, background vox, percussion, drum loops. Sometimes he tilts his guitar up like in Guitar Hero for added rock.
Influences
The Decemberists, Neutral Milk Hotel, Wilco, Johnny Cash, Brian Setzer, Weezer (pre-green), Moxy Fruvous, John Darnielle, They Might Be Giants, troubadours
Sounds Like
Imagine the wit and charm and comedy of Moxy Fruvous mixed with the wit and charm of the Decemberists, and the wit and charm and awesomeness of They Might Be Giants, and you'll have what I would like to sound like.
Currently, I'm just a guy with a guitar. Reachin' for the stars!
Oh, and if I could write lyrics like John Darnielle I would be happy too.

JOSHUA COLE BELVITRIUS is an almost recent graduate of Boise State University, majoring in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Performance and Dramatic Writing. He spends most of his time playing guitar and writing songs and/or writing poetry. Sometimes he dances, sometimes he acts.
The first CD he ever created, Kittens & Puppies, was a very modest success, judging by his family members' reactions after listening to it. His mom was once heard saying, "I really like that actor song." It was 6 on the Top 10 Albums My Nieces Probably Like, and was certified aluminum by a homeless man (who threw an empty Pepsi can at Josh one day).
Josh is currently working on everything, all at once. His next album, Goodnight, will be a free album, available primarily on the internet, and is basically for his friends and family as a goodbye gift before he moves to Portland to pursue music with slightly more fervor. It, like his other "albums" (read: random CD-Rs of music), will be recorded at home, with some drum loops and a bass he borrowed from his dad.
The albums following Goodnight will hopefully be with a band.
Further information about Josh and his life can be found on his website, zornog.net, also known as puppieslovetokillpeople.com.
He is excited that you added him as a friend, and he gets kind of weirded out when he hears his music on other people's profiles. He also wrote this blurb.
Oh! He also has a side project, sun city, where he sometimes releases EPs for free. You can check out that myspace here. That is all!
The new tracks are great, man! I've always wanted to do a ballad/duet version of "Don't Turn Around. " So when I saw that you had posted "The Sign," I was like, "Oh my dog, please let that be a cover!!"
Oh, around. I changed my major to Journalism, but I still am a Theater Minor. I listened to Goodnight, and it was cool! Im used to hearing just you and a guitar. Kinda made me want to start recording again.
We updated our MySpace page! New images were uploaded featuring some of our newest projects. Also featured are our super crazy popular 4-panel Eco Pack. Check out what we can do and consider us for your next CD order.
