James Hamilton This is my best bud, guitar luthier Jim Hamilton. If you're looking for Jim, drop me a note & I'll get it to him.
Meet Billy Livesay Check out Billy Livesay, acclaimed singer/songwriter and one of the coolest guys I know. Billy was the lead singing guitarist for Clarence Clemens' band "Temple of Soul." He is currently the lead singer & guitarist for FOGHAT with original bassist Tony Stevens. He also plays locally with his own band The Livesays, and the absolutely kick ass! www.BillyLivesay.com
The Hep Cat Boo Daddies Kristina Dasilva (Joel's wife), Joel, Evil & Randy
There once was a drummer named Howard
He'd be famous if he wasn't such a coward
He feared a large crowd
He'd start crying out loud
It's a wonder if he's ever been deflowered
There once was a pianist named Gennet
He'd practice but no better did he get
'Cuz he'd stop to touch his cock
Instead of rehearsing Bach
And end up with keys sticky and wet
There once was a tire salesman named Frank
He worked hard to put money in the bank
By night, he played guitar
Sang the blues in every bar
His wife left, took all his dough, and that stank
Famous Frank's response to my limericks:
There once was an agent named Judy
Something died when it crawled up her pootie.
She booked us a date
But we showed up late,
That's what you get booking Rudy!
Here's a group of kind souls raising money for the animals...

The amazing Michael Bianco Guitarist extraordinaire!
I had the priveledge to co-host an Open Mic Night with Bianco every Monday for almost two years. This Pro-Jam/Open Mic started at John L. Sullivan's in July 2004, moved to Cheers in May 2005, and ended in February 2006. It was a great run & we met a lot of fantastic musicians! You may view open mic pics from EVERY MONDAY in my photo gallery at www.judyblem.phanfare.com. Pics posted by date.

Yes, I meet tons of musicians, some incredibly talented, some not-so. Recently, I met someone so kind, so funny, so endearing and so incredibly gifted that I want you to know about him. He is singer/songwriter/guitarist Alex Nelson. His latest CD was released on 8/21/09. It's called "Everything You Wanted to Say But Didn't" & it's awesome!!!
You can find Alex in my Top Friends.

Hi. My name is Judy Blem. I am a licensed talent agent, promoter, party & event planner, emcee, graphic designer, amatuer photographer, and personal assistant to Prince Charles. I have a bachelors degree in marketing and advertising from FSU. I have dabbled in stand-up comedy & sang in a few bands a million years ago. I love live music. It's why I do what I do.
I have been booking gigs in FL for almost 20 years (since January of 1991): Clubs, Hotels, Restaurants, Corporate & Private Events, Weddings, Festivals, Concerts, Casinos, Paramutuals, Grand Openings, you name it. Shoot, I once booked a jazz band for a shuttle launch.
After working at Musicians Exchange™ for 8 years, (1991-1998), I applied for and received my Talent Agency License and started my own company:
MAIN EVENTS UNLIMITED, INC. dba MAIN EVENT TALENT AGENCY
FL Dept of Biz & Professional Regulations
Talent Agency License #594
Bonded by the State of Florida w/State Farm Ins. Co.
I gladly provide my clients with assistance in graphics & promotions. I believe it is important to go that extra mile -- especially in this economy.
