but we don't really give a flyin' fuck about what you wear. Our problem lies within the "emo" music. We are all about you being YOURSELF,and
we are all about individuality. We have friends from all walks of life and we don't have a problem
with being friends with ppl even if they don't listen to the same kind of music we do. In fact, we have friends who love country music, friends that love rap music, friends that love the whole hippie touring scene and etc. I have even come across a few ppl in my life that say they don't even listen to music or like it either, although I don't know how anybody could possibly even live life without music!! (WTF) but whatever that is their thing and they are just being themselves too...
Every one at sometime or another has problems in their lives. What matters is the way we deal with the problems life deals us. We are so sick of "emo" kids bragging about cutting themselves. That is one of the signs of serious mental illness and should in no way be considered the cool thing to do.
If you want to wear your hair with a bad sense of fashion... whatever. If you guys wanna wear your pants so tight they hug your nuts and run up your ass-crack...whatever...if thats your fuckin' deal & thats your thing GO FOR IT, be yourself....But don't be fuckin with a good thing and use the real Metal/Hardcore/Punk scenes for something that it is not all about. The real Metal/Hardcore/Punk scenes have never been about fashion and looking just like the guy next to you at a show.
If your gonna be emo than start your own fuckin style of music don't try to mix that shit in with our stuff and make half of your song(s) sound like metal/hardcore/punk and then the other parts with 'whining' vocals and poppy hooked riffs because it is confusing the fuck out of our youths and giving the real metal/hardcore/punk bands a bad fuckin name. If you emos are soooo EMOtional than you should atleast be artistic enough to create your own fuckin style of music and this is why we say....

I'm just about had it with the Long Island scene, because of the overflow of emo, and emo punk, screamo, watever you want to call it. The remaining metal bands just ain't up to par because of the lack of population. I've even resorted to moving out of state to continue my search for the right people to play with.
