paul sung "i love you samantha!" to me aross the road last week! saw Dan yesterday (still working for the council surprisingly enough! even more shocking to hear him speak as last time in the pub we only got a couple of words out of him lol!)
how is the sunshine? you getting board of it yet?!?! guessing not! I bumped into paul on friday on my street his wife was picking him up. told all about what was said when they let him go and everything. he seems to be doing well. still as funny as ever!
hey ya! how you doing? I was looking to get ptf's address yesterday online to update my c.v. i came across this about CT!!! remember?!?!? (to read it on the web page type in ptf brighton tower point on google) On Tuesday, I, along with 25 other candidates, arrived at Tower Point in Brighton for an "interview."
We were made to wait for FIVE hours whilst we endured a role play and first interview.
By 2 o'clock, there were 5 of us left and the vice- director, a delightful old woman by the name of Anna, decided she could then be bothered to see us.
To cut a long story short, NOBODY GOT HIRED!
The reason?
The second interview was not an interview. This horrible, condescending, megalomaniac of a woman decided she would simply abuse us all.
Personally, mine consisted of her laughingly telling me I had NO skills pertinent to her 7-pounds-an-hour, call-centre role. Of course, this was despite me working exclusively in call-centres for the last ten years.
She was so horrible, I merely assumed it was a test to see if we would react if we had a patronising customer on the end of the line. As it turns out, I think it is actually more likely because the director isn't getting any.
After doing my research, I have discovered I know someone who previously DID work there, but left, as he said everyone does, because he couldn't work for her. This is why they consistently advertise.
So, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Apply only if you want to waste 5 hours of your life, just to be patronised by a rude, obnoxious, ignorant woman on a power trip.
Where do I sign? Over here? Under "Hail Hitler"?
