Rick and Karen are a husband and wife team whose pursuit is to strengthen and develop a heart of worship in the body of Christ and encourage people all over the world through their music.
They have performed in many countries including Indonesia, Brazil, Austria, Russia, Italy, England and Spain as well as in the States.
Rick studied with Pat Metheney while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston. Rick uses his skill and experience to create a musical palette on which Karen adds her lyrical ability. Together they have written and produced their debut CD entitled PERFECT PEACE which is available now at www.cdbaby.com/karickter
Rick has several recording credits as guitarist for Lance Williams and True Worship, Modernique, Michael Gregory, Gary Anglin, Mel Holder to name a few. Rick has served as Musical Director for Gloria Gaynor during numerous international tours. He's also worked along side many artists such as George Clinton, Stevie Wonder, Micki Howard, Gladys Knight, Tavares, Groove Theory and other contributors to the world of music.
Rick held down the guitar seat at Christian Cultural Centre in New York for 10 years and is now moving in his purpose at Oasis Christian Centre in NJ.
In addition to Karen being a Worship Leader for over 26 years at CCC in Brooklyn, NY - She has also sang background vocals for several major artists.
Karen is currently the Worship Leader at Oasis Christian Centre in NJ for all Women's Events and serves on the W.O.W. Leadership Team.
Rick is Musical Director for Oasis and he and karen can be found participating on the Praise Team regularly.
