Books
Oh my goodness too many to count even without trying to include the forgotten ones, and they must be the majority.
If it's science fiction and written anywhere from 1930 to 1995 then I probably read it. After that it gets spottier unfortunately but hey, jobs and eating and having money and time to go to lots of SF conventions is pretty good compensation :)

I administer all aspects of SCO Unix, Linux, and FreeBSD servers. (install, repair, maintain, debug, networking)
I develope software in filePro.
I integrate various systems & software, specializing in finding the most efficient, scalable, ways
I'm a passable rhythm guitar.
I can sing barely.
My interests are generally acoustic contemporary and folk (and especially filk!) and light, medium, heavy metal, funk. No thrash/punk/death.
About me: Oh pff. About me... I'm wonderful. Just Ask me I'll tell ya. And you can trust me, no, really. Honest!
Fatuous unhelpful comment but what can I really say here? Most things I could say are simple, and no different than a gazillion other people. I'm nice, I'm smart, I can fix anything, I like techy stuff, I like making stuff, I like breaking stuff, I like skiing, music, science fiction, blah blah blah blah who cares
The really interesting things about me I don't think I can describe here for 2 reasons:
1) It's all way too subtle and stuff.
2) I am pretty sure that everyone that knows me perceives, likes, & dislikes, different things than others do. And I am _sure_ that I myself am utterly ignorant of all those things. So How could I attempt to tell you about them?
All I could say is what I think about myself, which I already did right at the top, and which as I also said right at the top, is not especially useful :)
So you'll just have to suffer the burden of spending actual time getting to know me. I know. The horror.
I'm willing if you are. Unless you're wonderful too? Then we could each very quickly and efficiently determine that the other is the devil. or god.
Who I'd like to meet: People? I'm really not even that picky when it comes right down to it. I don't consider dogs and cats and other pets people no matter how much I might like them and/or consider them members of the family, and I like to meet them more than some people.
The shorter list is who I wouldn't like to meet.
Scam artists of any flavor. (spammers, myspace spammers etc...) and shallow uncivilized people in general. By uncivilized I don't mean how you walk, talk, dress, or amuze yourself. I like a dressed up night on Broadway, I like high level corporate movers & shakers board meetings, I like hanging out with my real friends drinking beers, bbqing, and being jeuvenile retards with fireworks. I most like hanging out with science-fiction/fantasy/ or any other kind of reader geeks. and artsy geeks. But not the snooty art types. science geeks. Or just anyone interesting but bear in mind anyone can be interesting for countless reasons, many of whom probably don't consider themselves interesting. Which is why I hesitate to put anything here. So I say "interesting people" and gobs of the best folks see that and aren't particularly interested in seeing if I find them interesting. I would do the same in their shoes. I DO the same myself in fact. So please disregard all the above and pretend I said "I'd like to meet you" And then if you're a dirtbag I'll just tell you. Easy! :)
Hey Brian! Here's a link to a fair kinda thing we're doing in Edison - you can wear your renaissance stuff if you want - it's that kinda thing. Hope all is well!!! <3
