I'm not a big movie buff..generally when I find movies I like, I tend to watch them over and over and over... Some of my favorites: Jason's Lyric, Posse, The Five Heartbeats, Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Usual Suspects, A Christmas Story, What Dreams May Come, 40 Year Old Virgin, SuperBad, The Color Purple, Purple Rain, Spanglish....

I hardly ever watch TV..not much captures my interest. In the days of The Cosby Show, I would run and throw myself in front of the TV every Thursday at 8:00...now, not so much. I watch reruns of those older shows...

I read constantly...there is no one type of book that I like. However, my favorite is a 50/50 split between "Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston...That book moved me beyond measure.. and "My Soul To Keep" by Tananarive Due...That book scared me and fascinated me all at once.

My children - For allowing me to see the world again through the eyes of innocence that I thought was forever lost. For making me want better because they deserve better.

They - For helping me to understand that it doesn't have to be perfect to be right. For letting me grow, and not stifling the person that I was to become, mistakes and all. For accepting me now as a woman, but still loving me as a daughter.

Gawee, for gracing this earth with her presence. I felt the lights go out in the world when you left it.

Обо мне:

I am a 31 year old married mother of two beautiful little girls and one sweet little cat named Collette. They are the most important people in my life, hands-down. Never thought it would happen, but I'm a soccer mom! Well, soccer/PTA mom, and I love it.

I look at life from a half silly/half serious approach. Unless you know me well, you really don't know which side of me you are getting. I am very blunt, so I am kind of a take it or leave it person. (That's an understatement, lol) It is what it is...What's beef? There IS no beef.

I prefer the truth in difficult situations, and I ask those that deal with me to afford me the same courtesy. If you have to cut me, cut me clean. Healing comes better that way.

I don't have much use for the superficial, be they people or objects. I also prefer to surround myself with those that genuinely care about me. I've found as I get older that the circles may get smaller around me, but my appreciation and love for those in my "Circle of Trust" (lol) grows and grows.

I am also a vegetarian, bordering on becoming a vegan.
