Kash tha Ovadose, better known as "K-tha-O" is an entity created, constructed, and conditioned for the Music industry and corporate America. Born December, 1988 this young Sagittarius was a dreamer by nature, but he learned early in life that a "dream" was just that. His next step in life was to figure out how to turn those dreams into reality. He began walking and talking at 8 months of age -Reading at 4years old, and writing poetry at 9. By the age 11 he began to write bars/hooks/and verses scarcely. By age 12 he performed his first show at the "Strand Theater", Bostons most historical Auditorium. Alongside him at the Strand were members of the group A-Kamp. This 3 man act was formed by K-tha-O in the summer of his Eleventh year on this planet. He was and forever will be the youngest of the original members. By 2002 the "Kamp's" 1st mixtape hit the streets and sparked a wild fire that evolved into the ressurection of the hip hop scene in Boston, Mass. With 5,000 copies circulated through Boston, New York, VA, and the entire New England area, The fellas laid back and waited for the miracle. The miracle never came. The team struggled for years and years, and then came the terrible weather. The only ones left standing after the storm were K-tha-O and his mentor/biological father UG Hood.
In early 2003, together the two formed the independent label that would soon become an economic phenom. Name: The UGC(UnderGround Compound). With every body from the so called team seperated except the creater and his creater, all of the duties were divided in 2. UG became the President/CEO K-tha-O became the VP/CFO/main artist. The two tag teamed the other positions that needed to be filled, such as promotion and marketing. It seemed that carrying dead weight had hindered their progress the whole time. Within 3 months of making the concrete decision to focus and aquire what was righfully theirs, he duo dropped an enirely professional Album including all the perks of a major label artist, with indie artist quality. That was april 2007. Now not even 6 months later, this young man is available on all the most popular digital music websites worldwide. These sites include itunes,napster, and diaki(japan). Lyrically he has no equal and creativly he has no bounderies. Still without love from his city he felt somewhat stumped, until he looked beyond the border of the state of Massachusettes. Now he has been demanded to perform in Miami, California, Texas , ATL, Boston, New York, New jersey, Canada, Great Britain, France and Brazil. The next UGC projects are slated to drop in August and October. When asked when he will ever stop he stated "when my heart does". Years of blood, sweat, tears, progress and dedication have transformed this young man into the the Music industry's total package, Lyrically, Mentally and Physically. Hopefully these so called "rappers" are saving their money... wait till the world gets a load of this.
